4-H Clubs

Eligible 4-H members include any student in 4th-12th grade.

We are currently in all county schools (minus Riceville 6th grade) on a monthly basis during school hours. We also offer Community Club for 4th-12th graders monthly and Honor Club to 6th-12th graders.

Club meetings will be held in the months of September, October, November, December (County Public Speaking Contest), January, and February during the school year. 4-H Junior Summer camp registration will be held in March of each year.

Contests for the year are: 

4-H Posters, Public Speaking, Demonstrations (4th and 5th graders only), Interactive Exhibits (6th-8th graders only), Baking, Photography, and Clover Bowl.  4-H members are given information about contests during the club meetings. 

Service Learning Projects: We also encourage the members to participate in different community service activities each month. These vary by month and details are given during club meetings each month.
