There are deadlines for owning and tagging animals. Contact Brooke Cass or Melissa Coffey at the UT Extension Office at 745-2852, if your child would like to show livestock. Entry forms and lease agreement forms can be found at the link to the right.
The 4-H Livestock Program provides opportunities for 4-H members to select, care for, train, and show their very own animal. The Livestock program in McMinn County includes: beef and dairy cattle, market lambs, sheep, market hogs, poultry, and horses. 4-Her’s can participate in all levels of competition from county events, to larger regional and state events.
